Description |
springback |
Allows you to setup a springback analysis. The springback setup is done using the RADIOSS state file from a previous run. |
trimming |
Allows you to setup a trimming operation. After a stamping simulation, mesh trimming is used to remove unwanted material from the blank. Material may be removed from either the inside or outside of the trim line. Multiple trim lines may be defined. Trimming is completed inside HyperForm. |
3. Select the Blank Type as either Shell or Solid. You can also refer to the User Process.
|
It is assumed that the trim curve will be defined in very close proximity to the part surface.
3. For Trim Line, click Lines and select the trim line. Note: All trim lines must be a single combined line. If necessary, you may have to combine lines into a single line. Multiple areas can be trimmed in a single setup by selecting multiple closed loop lines. 4. For Trim Region, select Remove Outside, Remove Inside, or Lance. 5. For Direction, select the direction to project the trim line. 6. Optional: Enter the Trim Depth. The default is 0.0 and is calculated automatically. 7. Click Trim. |
