::hwat::io::CreateTempFile

Create a temp file with user specified extension and location.

Syntax

::hwat::io::CreateTempFile [extension] [location]{b_protected}

Arguments

[extension]
File extension for file(default {})
[location]
Location for file(default {})
b_protected
Set to TRUE to protect the scratch from the CleanupTempFiles operation.
Default = FALSE.
Optional.

Returns

Success
{str_fh file_handle str_filename file_name}
Failure
{}

Where,

File_handle = the actual handle to the open file.

File_name = the actual name of the newly created file.
