xy select

Syntax

xy select fileset <name>=<value>

xy select subcaseset <name>=<value>

Arguments

fileset

The name of the file set to plot. Define the options below:

curveattributes=<attributetype>

Select from file, standard, or layout.

curveattributes=standard

directory=<directory>

directory="c:/temp/Multiple_Files/doe_1"

filelist=<relative_file_path_list>

Define the file path.

filelist="run__00001/m_1/boxbeam_0001.out","run__00001/m_1/boxbeam_0002.out","run__00001/m_1/boxbeam_0004.out"

labelprefixsuffix=<label>

Define a label.

labelprefixsuffix=path

typeprefixsuffix=<prefix/suffix>

Select prefix or suffix.

typeprefixsuffix=prefix

subcaseset

The name of the subcase set to plot. Define the options below:

file=<filename>

Select a file from the file browser.

attach=<attachmode>

The attachment type. Options include:

• none (attach=none_
• attachxvectorsonly (attach=xvectoronly)
• attachxandyvectors (attach=attachxandyvectors

subcaselist=<subcase_label_list>

Select all, or a range of subcases.

subcaselist=all

subcaselist="Subcase_1"-"Subcase_4","Subcase_8"

subcaselist=1-2,4

subcasenameas=<true/false>

Select true or false.

subcasenameas=false

typeprefixsuffix=<prefix/suffix>

Select prefix or suffix.

typeprefixsuffix=prefix
