There are several files in the HyperForm installation that are used for storing settings related to the type of manufacturing simulation setup. These files are:

In the <install_directory>\hm\scripts\hyperform\automation directory:

Description

process_defaults.dat

Contains default values for the velocities and binder force that appear under Setup in the Auto Process macro in addition to other process parameters.

settings.dat

Used to customize your setup while using the Multi-stage Manager and the Auto Process macros.

lsdyna.bat

Contains the location of the LS-DYNA solver executable.

Description

HydroformInitDefaults.dat

Contains the default recommended tool velocities and pressures used for hydroforming.

tubeBendingInitDefaults.dat

Contains default parameters related to the form tool location, rotational velocity, and rigid mass parameters recommended for tube bending.
