Generate a Mesh Quality Report

Use the Quality Report tool to check the quality of surface and volume mesh.

1. From the Mesh ribbon, click the Quality Report tool.

   A report dialog opens.
2. Switch to the Count tab to review the count of the mesh and each element type.
3. Switch to the Surface Mesh Checks tab to view surface mesh quality checks and activate/deactivate desired checks.
4. Switch to the Volume Mesh Checks tab to view volume mesh quality checks and activate/deactivate desired checks.

   The worst value column helps you to understand where the worst quality cell is.

5. Click Calculate to populate the tables.
6. Optional: Click Export to export the quality check report.
