Browsers provide a structured view of model data, which you can use to review, modify, create, and manage
the contents of a model. In addition to visualization, browsers offer features like search, filtering, and sorting,
which enhance your ability to navigate and interact with the model data.
FE geometry is topology on top of mesh, meaning CAD and mesh exist as a single entity. The purpose of FE geometry
is to add vertices, edges, surfaces, and solids on FE models which have no CAD geometry.
Tools and workflows that are dedicated to rapidly creating new parts for specific use cases, or amending existing
parts. The current capabilities are focused on stiffening parts.
Use the Ejection Mitigation (EM) tool for the automatic target marking according to FMVSS-226 rules, automatic positioning
of the headform impactor, and the automatic export of ready-to-run solver decks for all of the selected impact locations.
Use the IP Impact tools to automatically calculate the instrument panel (IP) testing area according to the regulations
FMVSS201 and ECE-R21, position the headform impactor, and export ready-to-run solver decks for all the selected impact
locations.
The Pedestrian Impact tool automates the vehicle marking, impactors positioning and the export of solver decks with minimal
input, therefore reducing the full process lead time.
The Vehicle Safety Tools preference file contains templates to plot IIHS front intrusion and IIHS side structure intrusion
plots for Radioss and LS-DYNA files.
The Compare Time History diagnostic tool consists of two pages. On the first page, the input data files, such as plot,
result, and FE files, are selected. Page two contains the data needed to compare the reference files and comparison
files.
Allows you to transform vector results from a time history or animation result files according to a coordinate system
defined by three nodes from the same result file.
The MPDB tool offers a complete automated post processing solution of the MPDB Frontal Compatibility Assessment load case,
for Radioss and LS-DYNA output files. It also has the capability to do the MPDB compatibility assessment for physical test data (scanned data)
written out in STL format.
Use PhysicsAI to build fast predictive models from CAE data. PhysicsAI can be trained on data with any physics or
remeshing and without design variables.
Explore, organize and manage your personal data, collaborate in teams, and connect to other data sources, such as
corporate PLM systems to access CAD data or publish simulation data.

The MPDB Tool automatically processes the Standard Deviation
on the barrier, based on the intrusion calculations. An automatic PPT report is generated with
the following slides.
Occupant Loading Criterion Plot:
Modifier Plot:
Additionally, you can request to display the barrier deformation (intrusion
contour) on the reference plate as a grid projection. A new option SD Grid
Pattern is included under the settings dialog in the MPDB GUI ( ).
If the above option is turned ON, then a new slide is included in the final PPT
report as shown below.
Furthermore, in the “Output Directory” specified in the dialog, the following
files are exported automatically by the tool:
Output.key or output_0000.rad
Solver input file containing the deformed shape of the barrier at the selected time
step.
outputreference_plate.key or outputreference_0000.rad
Solver input file containing the reference plate defining the Grid for the
projection calculation.
export_barrier_reference.key or export_barrier_reference_0000.rad
Solver input file containing the deformed shape of the barrier at the selected time
step and the GRID used for the projection calculation.
outputprojection.hwascii
ASCII results file containing the nodal or elemental projection values along with
their entity IDs.
MPDB_session_file.mvw
Session file with results.
Bottoming_Out_Data.csv
Text file containing bottoming out data (if a bottoming out scenario is found) -
node IDs and their corresponding projection values within a 40mm x 40mm area.
*.pptx
Automatic PPT report generated by MPDB tool containing Standard deviation, OLC and
modifier plots.
