Component Geometry Organization
The Create in preference option has been added in the Geometry section of Preferences to organize newly created surfaces/solids. This option has been removed from geometry tools like Ruled, Extrude/Revolve, Patch/Spline, Skin, and Offset.
Detach
Time has been reduced.
Alight/Project > Plane
Improvements have been made in performance and tool simplification.
Tetra elements can now be projected using direction target.
Criteria File
Report generation for criteria file checks is now available.

Resolved Issues

  • Midmesh:
    • Automatic: "defeature openings width" has been made a factor similar to other midmesh parameters.
    • Parts selection for Midmesh extraction is now available.
    • Repair/Fill: feature angle definition has been added to retain edges on filling face.
    • Inspect: press ESC twice to exit the tool.
    • Align: the guide video has been updated.
    • Midmesh functionality has been improved via BM.
  • Face Edit:
    • Face Edit functionality has been improved.
  • FE Geometry:
    • Performance has been improved when FE geometry is used.
  • Free Form Mesh:
    • Performance improvements have been made in the Free Form Mesh tool.
    • Transparency mode has been turned off.
    • Anchor nodes are no longer restored when exiting the panel.
    • A warning message is provided for excessive amounts of edges.
  • Detach:
    • Performance improvements have been made in the guide bar.
  • Parameters editor:
    • Improvements have been made with radius selection on holes and fillets.
  • Imprint:
    • The guide structure is now adjusted to be more logical.
  • Midsurface:
    • Performance improvements have been made.
  • Edit elements:
    • Performance improvements have been made in Split > Combine and error message appears on incorrect elements selection.
    • Performance improvements have been made in Move.
  • Cut Hole:
    • Performance improvements have been made.
