Model Preparation

The current version of HL-WC supports one type of weld connection modelling:

node2node

In this method of weld modelling, the plate components are connected using common nodes known as shared edges. For automatic detection of node2node welds, the below conditions must be met.

• The connected shells must share the same nodes at the weld line.
• The connected shells must be organized in different components.
