After preparing the surfaces and creating lines for feed systems, you generate mesh on the surfaces. The Generate Mesh group includes buttons for various mesh-related actions.
The Moldflow data deck can be used for three different types of elements: linear triangular elements, linear tetrahedron elements, and linear beam elements (rod inside HyperMesh).

Tria |
Opens the size and bias subpanel of General 2D Meshing, which is used to create tria3 elements on surfaces. Note that Moldflow decks do not allow quad elements. |
Beam |
Opens the Line Mesh panel, which is used to create rod elements for the design of the feed system and cooling circuit. |
Layered TetMesh |
Opens a secondary Utility menu page with tools to create solid 3D models. |
