Slice

Examine the part in layers to validate its geometry before 3D printing.

Prerequisite: Prepare, orient, and support the part for 3D printing before using the Slice tool.
  1. Click the Slice icon.
  2. Use the slider to view the part at various stages of printing.
Tip:
  • Click the Top View icon to observe the part from above, as if looking down at the printing bed.
  • Note that the numbered slices do not represent actual manufacturing layers.
