Define Custom Material Database

Duplicate material property definitions present in a CAD system.

1. Export a list of materials and their property values from the CAD system to a CSV or XLS file.
2. Edit the file to comply with the format specified in the topic CSV Format for Bulk Loading Material Properties.
3. Save the formatted file as a CSV.
4. In the menu bar, click Settings > Material database.
5. Set view materials from to the Material database.
6. Click Import CSV.
7. Browse to the desired CSV and click Open.
8. Click Save to add the imported materials to the database.
