Once the baseline model is prepared, you can define morph volumes, morph geometry, create design shapes and run DOE
studies. These tool work for both AcuSolve and ultraFluidX-based workflows.
Morph constraint entities restrict or prescribe the movement of nodes during morphing, with a variety of available
methods and dimensional values. These constraints are valid across all available morphing approaches and can be individually
activated or deactivated at any time, even in between morphs or applying shapes.
Morph volume entities are highly deformable six-sided prisms which surround a portion of the FE mesh, and can be used
to manipulate a mesh by manipulating the shape of the morph volume.
Use the Morph Volumes: Enclose tool to create morph volumes with rectangular or circular shapes. Enclosed mesh and connectors are automatically
registered to the enclosing volumes by default.
Use the Morph Volumes: Split/Combine tool to split morph volumes using a single or multiple locations along an edge, combine adjacent morph volumes along
shared faces, join pairs of separate morph volumes, or equivalence any number of morph volume faces using a
search distance.
Use the Morph Volumes: Edges tool to adjust the interaction of the morph volumes by adding or removing handles on the edge of the volumes
or changing the tangency of the volumes.
Use the Morph Volumes: Register tool to review and edit the contents of morph volumes. Only registered contents will morph when morphing morph volumes.
Entities that can be registered to morph volumes are nodes and connectors.
Once morphing is done, you can create shapes and design variables and submit DOE studies. The DOE study tool can be
used for shape and CAD parameter DOEs, and for Automation. The purpose of this tool is to provide automation files
so you can manually modify them and carry out DOEs.

From the Morph ribbon, click the Morph Volumes > Register tool.
Leave the morph volumes selector empty to review and edit contents of all morph
volumes at once (automatic), or select specific volumes to review and
edit.
Use the Registered selector to edit registered nodes or
connectors
Nodes can be manually registered to individual selected volumes, while
connectors are always registered to volumes physically enclosing them
(automatic).
Click Register on the guide bar
to update the selected entities.
