FPC Dummy Pad

Check the specification for Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC) connector pads.

FPC connector is the components in FPCB to connect PCBs.

The FPC Dummy Pad dialog contains the following sections:
  • FPC Component Definition: Define the FPC connector component.
    • FPC Component Selection: Select component from the component group list.
  • Checking: Check FPC dummy pad distance and number of distances in each side.

    • Distance between Dummy Pad’s Edges: Set the distance value between dummy pads. If distance is not matching with the given value, PollEx DFM defines them as fails.
    • Minimum Number of Dummy Pad in each Side: Set the minimum number of side dummy pads.
