MF-Tyre/MF-SWIFT Modeling
MotionView integrates MF-Tyre and MF-SWIFT tire models from Siemens (branded by Siemens as Simcenter Tire).
MotionView customers may use MF-Tyre with no additional license
or fees, however the following features must be licensed at an additional cost from Siemens
(contact your Altair Representative for more information):
- Turnslip
- MF-Swift tire model with Rigid Ring
- Enveloping Tire/Road Contact
- Temperature and Velocity (MFSwiftTV)

Important: The

To use MF-Tyre/MF-SWIFT with your MotionView model, add an AutoTire entity from the MBD-Vehicle Dynamics Tools to your model. See Accessing Auto Entities in MotionView and AutoTire - Auto Entity for more information. Once you have added an AutoTire, select an MF-Tyre/MF-SWIFT property file. You can find example property files in the installation here:
