Rivet

Connect multiple part with rivets of a given diameter.

Virtual Rivets act like a perfectly rigid “nail-like” structures between the connected parts.

  1. On the Project Tree, click on the Connections workbench
  2. On the Connections workbench, select > Rivet.
  3. Use one of the following methods to create the Rivet:
    Method Process
    Pick rivet location
    1. Select the Stand alone rivets radio button.
    2. Specify Rivet diameter.
    3. In the modeling window, select locations on the model.
    Import rivets from CSV
    1. Select the Import rivents from CSV radio button.
    2. Click Import.
    3. Browse to the desired CSV file.
    4. Click Open
    5. Specify Rivet diameter.
  4. Click OK.
    The connector will appear in the Connections branch. If selected, it will be visually represented in the modeling window.
