Manage Plot Templates

Create, modify, and remove plot templates.

Plot Templates are customized shorcuts for viewing the plot result file. If you wish to view multiple plot result files to the same result type parameters, streamline the view plot result by creating a template. The result parameters is pre-populated in the template.

RVS validates the template when selected to apply for the selected plot result file. If the template matches the result file, the plot parameters are displayed on the plot TOC fields on the right pane. If a template cannot be applied to a result file, a message is displayed to select another valid template.

If a default template is set for a result file then RVS will display the plot result directly. If the set default template doesn't match the result file, the plot TOC is displayed with a message to select another valid template.
