          The Edit Legend dialog allows you to change the legend properties.

          You can edit the contour, vector, or tensor plot legend in the graphics area.

        • Complex Results

          Results in some analysis types come as complex numbers.

        • Computed Results

          A listing of results that are computed in HyperView.

        • Nodal Averaging of Elemental Results

          Nodal averaging of elemental results at a node refers to the average of all the element corner results passing through that node.

        • Averaging Options

          The averaging options allow you to limit the averaging of results to only a group of elements that are considered to be bound by same feature angle or face.

        • Multi-model Result Plotting

          HyperView allows for plotting (contour, iso, vector, or tensor) across multiple overlaid models.

        • Fatigue Manager

          The fatigue manager allows you to write stress and strain results from a finite element analysis to an external file that can be used to set up a fatigue analysis.

        • Fatigue Configuration File

          The fatigue configuration file is a user-defined external ASCII-file through which the data groups from results of static/modal/transient analysis of different solvers can be read.

      • Create Entities

        Create and edit user-defined data type expressions, derived load cases, and systems. You can also plot a forming limit diagram, generate streamlines, track entities during animation, and create and import/export sets of entities.

      • Query Data

        Query entities, create or edit free body diagrams, construct multiple curves and plots from a single result file, and create and plot stress linearization.

      • Annotate Models

        Annotate animation files using notes or trace various entities during animation.

      • Transform Models

        Define planes of symmetry/axisymmetry or explode a model.

      • Overlay Images/Videos

        Select and overlay images or videos in the modeling window for correlation and presentation purposes.

      • Rendering Models

        Select a graphics rendering mode and change the appearance of materials.

        The Tools menu provides you access to various panels and dialogs.
