Definitions
Field | Contents | SI Unit Example |
---|---|---|
ID | Identification number of the
STEADY Bulk Data Entry. No default (Integer > 0) |
|
NSTEPS | Number of time steps for conversion in
time domain. Default = Blank (Integer > 0, or blank) |
|
SUBIDi | Index of subcase. 2 No default (Integer > 0) |
|
FREQ | The frequency of a frequency response
subcase used for steady state analysis. 3 Default = Blank (Real or blank) |
|
SCALE | Scaling factor for the displacements in
each subcase. Default = 1.0 (Real or blank) |

each frequency response subcase. Default = 0.0 (Real or blank) |
Comments
- This entry is referenced in the subcase section using the STEADY Subcase Information Entry. The ANALYSIS Subcase Information Entry can be set to STEADY for the steady-state analysis subcase.
- Subcase type could be either direct or modal frequency response analysis or linear static analysis.
- If FREQ is specified, only the results of certain frequencies are used for conversion. If FREQ is blank, the results of all the frequencies are used for conversion. FREQ should be blank for linear static subcases.
- The
following results are currently supported for Steady State subcases:
- Displacement
- Stress
- Equivalent Radiated Power (ERP). For ERP in steady-state analysis, note that Frequency-dependent ERPRLF with TABLEDi in PANELG is not supported.
