Removes elements from a contactsurf using face nodes.

Syntax

*removeelemsfromcontactsurfusingnodes name elem_mark_id node_mark_id

Removes elements from a contactsurf using face nodes. If all elements are removed the empty contactsurf still exists.

name: The name of the contactsurf.
elem_mark_id: The ID of the mark containing the elements to remove. Valid values are 1 and 2.
node_mark_id: The ID of the mark containing the nodes defining the face nodes of the elements to remove. Valid values are 1 and 2.

To remove elements 100 and 101 from the contactsurf "test" for the specified face defined by the nodes on mark 2:

*createmark elems 1 100 101
*createmark nodes 2 201 202
*removeelemsfromcontactsurfusingnodes  "test" 1 2

Incorrect usage results in a Tcl error. To detect errors, you can use the catch command:

if { [ catch {command_name...} ] } {
   # Handle error
}
